The pilot of 64XY and one of his friends had planned a local flight with two paramotors. The pilot of the first paramotor took off without a problem whilst the second aborted his take-off due to an unknown reason. The witnesses seemed to indicate that both take-off attempts occurred in quick succession. Immediately after take-off, the paramotor veered right due to canopy asymmetry, accentuated by the engine’s full-load torque. The paramotor hit trees causing the harness and the pilot to fall into the river.
