The instructor and student-pilot were making a local flight departing from Le Puy aerodrome. After about 10 minutes of flight, the student-pilot reported that he was on the downwind leg and then on the base leg for runway 15R. Witnesses indicated that the flex-wing then followed a path parallel to the runway at low height. It finally collided with a storage hangar located near the aerodrome.
The investigation was unable to explain the path followed by the microlight.
