The B-5958 planned to fly from ZBAA to RJTT at UTC 09h10, 27th August, 2019. UTC 08h35, passenger boarding started.

About UTC 08h48, smoke and irritating smell were noticed by flight attendants and ECAM alert of SMOKE/FWD CARGO SMOKE was triggered in flight cabin. Then, ECAM operation was conducted and MAYDAY was announced.
