The aircraft took off from Viracopos Airport (SBKP), Campinas, SP, bound for Orlando Airport (KMCO), Orlando, FL, USA, with 14 crew members and 197 passengers on board, in order to carry out a regular public air transport. Near the city of Manaus, AM, the aircraft passed through an area of turbulence. A passenger was displaced from her seat and suffered a wrist fracture.
