Preliminary data based on the notification from the Canadian authorities:

C-FHPQ, an Aerospatiale AS 350 B-2 operated by Go Hélico Inc., was conducting a visual flight rules flight from the Chicoutimi/St-Honoré, QC (CYRC) airport to a landing site located 145 NM North of CYRH with a pilot and 4 passengers on board. While on approach to the site, the aircraft lost altitude, the right skid struck trees as the aircraft continued its descent and overturned after striking the ground. The occupants were able to exit the aircraft and there were no injuries. The aircraft sustained substantial damage, and there was no post-impact fire. The emergency locator transmitter (ELT) was manually activated by the pilot.
