Preliminary data based on the notification from the Austrian authorities:
During external cargo operations to an elevated mountain hut, on descent back from the hut to the valley the cargo rope got into the tail rotor which forced the pilot to perform an emergency landing. The extent of the damage to the tail section due to this event is unknown. On touchdown, the tail was found separeted from the helicopter.
