Accident to the Airbus AS355 registered C-GCZS on 19/06/2019 near Dryden [Investigation led by TSB / Canada]

Preliminary data based on the notification from the Canadian authorities:

C-GCZS, an Aerospatiale AS 355 F2 helicopter operated by Zimmer Air Services, was conducting spraying operations 18 nm north of Dryden Regional (CYHD), ON. During the flight, there was a loud bang, followed by a right hand engine chip-light. The filter light illuminated 10 seconds later, and the pilot jettisoned the load. The pilot received a fire warning, and flew the aircraft to the ground. The pilot exited the aircraft, which was subsequently destroyed by fire.
