Preliminary data based on the notification from the United States authorities:

During a Part 135 air tour, the pilot reported tail rotor gearbox chip light, which was immediately followed by high frequency airframe vibration. During an off-airport precautionary landing, all tail rotor authority was lost, and the helicopter began to spin to the left. The helicopter subsequently landed hard and rolled over to the right, sustaining substantial damage.
