Preliminary data based on the notification from the Canadian authorities:
C-GWEA, an Aerospatiale ATR 42-320 aircraft operated by West Wind Aviation, was conducting a flight from Fond-Du-Lac, SK (CZFD) to Stony Rapids, SK (CYSF) with 22 passengers and 3 crew members on board. Shortly after takeoff from Runway 28 at CZFD, the aircraft collided with terrain in a wooded area, approximately 0.75 nm from the end of Runway 28. 2 persons sustained serious injuries and 2 received minor injuries.
