Accident to the Cirrus SR22 registered F-HAMP on 15/09/2019 at Pedreguer [Investigation led by CIAIAC / Spain]

Preliminary data based on the notification from the Spanish authorities:

The aircraft was part of an air rally with 29 other aircraft. The route planned for that day was to fly from Castellon airfield (LECN) to the La Axarquia airfield (LERE). However, the weather conditions in Requena were not suitable for the visual flight and it was decided, after waiting several hours, to change the destination airfield to Muxtamel (LEMU). The aircraft when flying over the town of Pedreguer, in Alicante, collided with the mountain of l'Ocaive. At that time, there was a dense fog in the aerea and visibility was poor. After hitting the ground, the aircraft caught fire.
