Within the scope of a communal celebration organised on the banks and waters of the lake, the pilot embarked a passenger for a local flight. This was the second flight of this type on that day. The pilot followed a path similar to that of the first flight: after passing at low height over the lake and flying an outbound leg in climb, he made a turn of approximately 220° to the right to align for final approach. During the turn, he completed the pull-up and immediately started the descent. During these manoeuvres, the pilot was alerted, by radio, of the presence of canoes in the water landing zone. During the final approach, the microlight hit a power line and collided with the ground.
