Local flight from Mont-Dauphin Saint-Crépin AD (05).
The pilot took off by winch and was using updraughts around the high ground located near the aerodrome. After less than ten minutes' flight, he decided to bring the flight to an end. Some witnesses saw the glider make a 360° turn on the final, without losing any altitude. They explained that the glider then arrived at a steep slope and described a landing without any flare. The glider struck the ground hard.
