Preliminary data based on the notification from the Norway authorities :
At lift off, the pilot was unaware of a load attached to the long line cargo hook. This caused control problems when the long line tightened after lift off. The pilot suspected that something had hit the main rotor, and decided to do a precautionary landing. Approaching the ground, the main rotor blades hit some trees, and the pilot experienced reduced lift causing a hard landing. Some damage on main rotor blades, and some deformation on the landing gear
