Preliminary data based on the notification from the authorities of Brazil :
The aircraft departed for the rescue of PT-KGC accident occupants. The pilot arrived at the accident site and hovered the helicopter a few feet over the river for the rescue. During the procedure, one of the occupants was rescued. The other accident crewmember grabbed the helicopter landing skid, but fell into the river and was not seen anymore. The helicopter overflew the area for 20 minutes, but could not find the crewmember. The corpse was found by the fire department two days after the occurrence
