The instructor, in the rear seat, and the student pilot took off for a local flight of approximately 20 minutes. In short final, at an estimated height of five metres, the powered glider passed under the approach slope. The instructor made a nose-up input on the stick which came out of its housing. The powered glider suddenly took a nose-down attitude. The instructor was unable to regain control of the flight path. The propeller and the front of the fuselage came into contact with the grass runway. The powered glider slid along the runway and came to a halt after around 150 m. The accident was the result of a lack of tightness of the rear seat stick. It was not possible to determine the cause of this.
