Accident to the Airbus SE3130 registered ZU-RAL on 26/10/2025 near Danielskuil (South Africa)

Preliminary data based on the notification from the authorities of South Africa :

On Sunday, 26 October 2025 a pilot and two passengers on board a SE 3130 Alouette 2 helicopter with registration ZU-RAL was conducting a private flight from Elandsvlakte farm with the intention to land at Olifantshoek farm, both in Northen Cape province. The flight was conducted under Visual meteorological conditions (VMC) by day under the provisions of Part 94 of the Civil Aviation Regulations (CAR) 2011 as amended.
The pilot was ferrying the aircraft from Elandsvlakte to Olifantshoek. The aircraft crashed in Kurumanheuwels in Danielskuil.
