The aircraft took off from the Deputado Luís Eduardo Magalhães International Airport (SBSV), Salvador - BA, at around 10:00 am (UTC), bound for the Petrobras 69 platform (9PMN), Baía de Camamu - BA, in order to perform a air taxi flight, with two pilots and eleven passengers on board. During the final for landing, there was a loss of control in flight and the consequent impact of the aircraft at the sea.
