The aircraft took off from Fazenda Santa Maria aerodrome (SWFO), Formosa do Rio Preto-BA, bound for Piquet aerodrome (SSGP), Brasília-DF, in order to perform a private flight with a pilot and four passengers on board. During the approach there was a go-around attempt, the aircraft touching in ground and left the runway by its left side.
