Serious incident to the Airbus A321 registered CS-TJL operated by Air Portugal on 23/10/2023 at Barcelone

During a scheduled flight TP823 (MXP-LIS), at FL370 while in cruise phase flying past BCN VOR, ECAM ENG2 SHUTDOWN was triggered. Crew initiated engine fail procedures, declared emergency and diverted to BCN where the landing was unventful.
