The AAIB indicated to the BEA that two similar events occurred at a similar time, involving:

- an Airbus A320-232 at London Heathrow Airport - Suffered rejected takeoff due to airspeed discrepancy.; 2 of the 3 pitot tubes blocked

- an Airbus A320-251N at London Heathrow Airport - Returned to stand with an air data issue.;1 of the 3 pitot tubes blocked.
