Serious Incident to the Airbus A319 registered ER-AXM and operated by Air Moldova on 05/11/2017 at Roma [Investigation led by ANSV / Italy]

Preliminary data based on the notification from the Italian authorities:

The flight MLD891 from Chisinau to Rome Fiumicino, after the second missed approach in Rome (the first for RWY16L, the second for RWY34L) due to meteorological condition started the diversion to Bologna (LIPE) then requested to return to Rome Fiumicino declaring MAYDAY fuel. The flight for the third time interrupted the approach (RWY 16L) and finally managed to land on RWY16R in Fiumicino.
