At 02:34 (UTC) on 8 September 2025, a Hong Kong Express Airways Airbus A320-232 aircraft (Flight no. UO235) landed on Runway 07L at the Hong Kong International Airport. After landing, the aircraft veered off to the right, resulting in a runway excursion onto the grass area between Taxiways C6 and C7. The aircraft subsequently exited the grass area and returned to the runway on its own power. In the course of the runway excursion, the aircraft damaged three runway edge lights and two Movement Area Guidance Signs on the grass area.
