Serious incident to the Airbus A320 registered VT-IVB and operated by Indigo on 01/04/2019 at Jaipur [Investigation led by AAIB / India]

Preliminary data based on the notification from the Indian authorities:

While climbing out of FL160, there was sudden loud bang sound heard by the crew which was followed by engine #1 stall and high vibrations. The aircraft carried out Air Turn Back and landed at Jaipur. There are damages to LPT stage 3 blades of engine #1.
