Serious incident to the Airbus A350 registered B-LXO operated by Cathay Pacific on 26-11-2025 at Hong Kong

Preliminary data based on the notification from the Hong Kong authorities:
A Cathay Pacific Airways Airbus A350-1041 aircraft (Flight no. CX764) was approaching Runway 07C at the Hong Kong International Airport at the end of the flight from Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Just prior to the flare altitude, the crew determined that the flare was not fully developed and initiated a go-around. After the go-around was established, an Electronic Centralized Aircraft Monitor message “TAILSTRIKE” was displayed. The aircraft subsequently landed safely.
