Serious incident to the ATR 42 registered OY-JRY operated by Danish Air Transport on 16/11/2021 at Karup

Preliminary data based on the notification from the Danish authorities:

Just after rotation the flight crew observed some smoke coming from the windscreen area. The flight crew donned their oxygen masks, called Mayday and returned to the departure aerodrome (EKKA). All systems worked as normal, and there was no warning or caution lights/indications. The smoke evaporation stopped after a short while. After an uneventfull landing, the aircraft was stopped on a taxiway and engines were shut down.
