The aircraft took off from Porteirão Municipality, Goiás, to SWNV, Goiânia, Goiás, with one pilot and four passengers on board. At the final approach, the aircraft struck a bird and the windshield broke. The pilot decided to land in an open field in order to assess the aircraft conditions. Then, the flight proceeded to SWNV.
