Serious Incident to the Microlight ELA-O7 registered EC-GA5 on 16/06/2017 en route [Investigation led by CIAIAC / Spain]

Preliminary data based on the notification from the Spanish authorities:

In cruise flight the aircraft began to experience strong vibrations. The pilot found that as the engine speed dropped, the vibrations decreased. He continued the flight until the destination, given it was possible to fly without vibrations at a speed somewhat lower than usual.

After landing it was found that 2 out of the 3 blades of the propeller of the aircraft were fissured.
