Serious incident to the Airbus A330 registered PK-LEG operated by Lion Mentari on 15/09/2020 at Kualanamu AD

Preliminary data based on the notification from the Indonesian authorities:

During landing on runway 23 on heavy rain condition, the aircraft veered to the left and the left main wheel out of the runway surface along approximately 30 meters. The pilot managed to realigned the aircraft to the runway centerline and continue taxi to the apron. During inspection found grass on the main wheel and deep cut on the tire. The aircraft found no further damage.
