Accident to the Bell 47 registered F-GKTR on 13/05/2021 at Planaise

The pilot flew over a plot to spray a larvicide. Given the location of the plot along a motorway and despite the presence of a power line approximately perpendicular to the latter, the pilot chose to adopt spraying paths parallel to the motorway and therefore perpendicular to the power line. During the spraying operation, the pilot forgot about the power line and hit it. The pilot lost control of the helicopter which crashed into a marshy area.
