Serious incident to the Airbus A320 registered A6-EIF and operated by Etihad on 05/03/2018 in cruise [Investigation led by AIB / United Arab Emirates]

Preliminary data based on the notification from the authorities of the United Arab Emirates :

While descending throught FL270, flight crew noticed the cabin altitude increasing to 8 000 ft. As a result, flight crew increased the rate of descent, but the cabin reached 10 000 ft. Passenger oxygen masks were deployed manually and the aircraft landed safely at 13h59Z. No emergency assistance was required for the aircraft on arrival. All passengers disembarked normally and there was no reported injuries to either passengers or crew.
