Accident to the Airbus EC130 registered PK-CFX operated by Matthew Air Nusantara on 16/04/2026 near Pontianak (Indonesia)

Preliminary data based on the notification from the Indonesian authorities: 
 

At 0737 LT, the aircraft departed from Melawi for Kubu Raya. At 0839 LT, an emergency signal from the aircraft was detected by the National Search and Rescue Agency satellite in a forested area approximately 150 km (80 Nm) east of Pontianak. At 0915 LT, the aircraft was declared missing after loss of contact. Search and rescue were launched and the wreckage was located in a dense forested area.
