Serious incident to the Airbus A320 registered N957AV operated by Avianca on 08/11/2024 at Monteria (Colombia)

Preliminary data based on the notification from the Colombian authorities :

The aircraft was programmed to perform flight AVA 9752 between Bogota (SKBO) to Cartagena (SKCG) with 6 crew and 180 passengers. According to the initial statements, in approach yo SKCG there was bad weather and the aircraft made diversion to the alternate airport in Barranquilla (SKBQ). Due to bad weather in SKBQ the crew decided to divert to Monteria (SKMR) and declared emergency fuel condition. The aircraft landed safely in SKMR with 740 kg fuel below the final reserve fuel. No injuries reported.
