The aircraft departed from Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek Airport (SBBR), Brasília, Federal District, bound for Deputado Luís Eduardo Magalhães Airport (SBSV), Salvador, state of Bahia, to conduct a scheduled commercial passenger flight. During the takeoff phase, the aircraft experienced bird strikes involving both engines. The prescribed procedures were carried out, and the aircraft returned to the departure airport. The landing was completed without incident, and the aircraft taxied to the parking stand under its own power.
