On September 27th, 2015, Dragon air flight KA951 from Qingdao to Hong Kong, an Airbus 330, registration B-HLL, experienced a cockpit smoke from the bottom of FCU during the climb from 8,600 to 12,200 meters. The flight crew requested to descend to 3,000 meters, and declared an emergency (MAYDAY), and then decided to divert to Pu Dong airport. The crew then declared Pan Pan and continued a rapid descent after the cockpit smoke dissipated. The following flight was uneventful and the aircraft landed safely at Pu Dong airport.
